LIGHTING PRODUCTS

Since 2001 SMD have been supplying specialized lighting products and other special effects to the entertainment industry. Most of these products are designed and built in the SMD offices, including uplighters, lightboxes, fibre optics and a unique range of LED products. They now offer a range of high bright Luxeon LED Par 16 lighting fixtures for corporate events, trade shows, expo stands and conferences.

LED Uplighter

• battery powered high bright "LED Uplighter" used for table centre piece décor or as a "stand alone" feature
• high bright LED's with a very low power consumption
• no power cables running between tables
• each unit has various built-in programs
• operation time exceeds 12 hours

DICHROIC UPLIGHTER OR "LIGHTBOX"

• the well established and ever popular original battery powered "Uplighter"
• specifically designed for table décor centre pieces
• operation time of six hours with power save electronic circuitry
• high powered focused dichroic reflector lamp
• lamps can be gelled to desired colour
• white covers available for weddings
• new mirror covers also available

TABLE STEM DOWNLIGHTER

• the "Table Stem Downlighter" is fast gaining popularity at corporate functions and banquets especially at the Cape Town International Convention Centre
• provides the perfect alternative to lighting or "pinspotting" banquet tables
• battery operation of six hours, no cables between tables
• solves expensive options of trussing and "pinspotting" tables
• a bright central arc of 300mm to light the table central décor
• a secondary less intense arc of 1.8m diameter that lights a 1.8m banquet table perfectly

AMBIANT LIGHTBOX

• based on battery powered low voltage flourecent tubes

CHILLER

• battery powered remote controlled wine and champagne chiller
• no power cables required

LED RED CARPET

• red VIP entrance carpet runner lined down each side with ultra bright white LED’s
• LED’s can remain "fixed on" or chase creating a runway or filmstrip effect
• Available in 5m lengths

FIBRE OPTIC BOARDS

• fibre optic display boards
• optic positioned randomly to create "star field" effect
• powered by opti-kinetics light generator which can produce any colour required

LUXEON PAR 16

• powered by 3 Luxeon ultra bright LED light sources
• Full red, green, blue (RGB) colour mixing
• Full DMX control from any lighting desk
• Available in narrow, medium and wide columater lenses
• 3 luxeon Par 16 fixtures will equal the intensity of a gelled Par 56 lamp
• Perfect for trade shows, expo stands, corporate and conference productions
