Shosholoza Meyl Train Launch
As the guests and digniteries arrived for the Spoornet launch at St James Station, False Bay, the city council plunged the local streets into complete darkness. Guests watched the laser show from Boyes Drive some 1km away as the 500m of beach and surf changed colour from power wash lights. The show ended in the reveal of the train in 80 000 watts of white light. Thereafter guests were bussed down to dinner on the beach. |
