VISITORS COMPLEX LAUNCH:

| This was a spectacular chance to be really
creative. He created a theme that represented technology amalgamating with the ancient
formations of the caves, from the time that they were formed, through the african history
until the present. The music he chose for the show complimented the history stages. The
laser imitated falling rain, as water sculpted the caves and later traced sketches of
Bushmen Art. This 22 minute show took 5 nights to program and was viewed by invited
Parliamentarians and senior Governmental officials. |

was a “Venetian Mardi-Gras”. A huge success and a difficult act to follow. We

live to the Republic of Namibia from the casino resort. Sound feeds are integrated with OB

graduates is a showcase for the design department. Set and ramp are kept simple in white
and lighting is also in simple white. |

| CREAM, TRADE, CARL COX, RENAISSANCE, PAUL OAKENFOLD, PAUL VAN DYK: International Dance Events in various venue’s around Cape Town. |

A unique experience to have designed,
programmed and operated the lighting for well over 50 of Cape Town’s biggest
dance and rave events in the real peak of the rave era.
The events organisers were:
Pharcyde, Vortex and Mother doing gigs like Return to the Pharcyde, Winter Wonderland,
Rave Nation I, II & III, Dance Opera, working with the big names like Carl Cox, Danny
Rampling, Paul Oakenfold, Alister Whitehead, Dave Seaman, Paul van Dyk. They also brought out the biggest UK club outfits to come to SA like Cream, Trade and Renaissance.
The biggest dance event in Africa, is the New Years Eve Synergy, which attracts over 15
thousand people every year. Steve was involved in the first five years of this event,
programming the main floor and the trance floor every year. He has programmed and been
involved in the lighting for all four visits to SA by Carl Cox. The Peter Stuyvesant
Global Synergy broke all boundaries having over 30 moving mirrors and yokes lighting
fixtures on a dance floor for 700 people only. |
